We recently ordered and picked up food. Super fresh, still really warm (not everyone gets that with "to go" food) and of course super tasty.

Thanks for the delicious meal today. Rostbrätl with fried potatoes, simply super and fresh. After an hour we could get the food and everything was still hot. It's just sad that you are leaving Engelsdorf, but of course we wish you all the best and a good new start! We will of course also stop by Naunhof.

Ambience is awesome, staff also great but the food is sometimes so sometimes it tastes great, next time very average .. a shame actually

For a long time we were looking for a neighborhood restaurant near us (Stötteritz, Mölkau, Engelsdorf), which does not exude the typical rustic and dusty atmosphere of regulars' table with home-style cuisine, but has a more modern atmosphere and cosmopolitan range of dishes and drinks. We finally found what we were looking for in the grandfather clock: Great, modern ambience, delicious, also international dishes, friendly service and a selection of cocktails leave nothing to be desired for the "bar around the corner". Top!

My boyfriend and I had our first date in this beautiful restaurant. We always go to our anniversary to eat there for over 4 years. The food tastes very tasty and does not take long and we are completely satisfied with the staff. Keep it up !!! ??

Been here for the 2nd time. And this time we were not disappointed either. Nice and friendly welcome. The food came quickly and was very tasty again. Waitress very quick and attentive. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

It is a pity that the pretty restaurant with very good food has to be poorly rated due to the inappropriate service. Once again, the waitress, thanks to her listless and sometimes spotty appearance, made sure that we and our friends will avoid this restaurant for the time being. We think that the grandfather clock team must clarify the situation as quickly as possible, especially since we obviously did not have to make these findings alone.

I'm very satisfied. The restaurant is very clean and comfortably modern. The staff was always friendly and the food also tasted good. The menu also offers a large selection.

Terrible female waitress. The waitress is the reason why we will avoid this place in the future. We were served here several times in a very unfriendly manner and I don't think you have to “do this” anymore these days.

Professionally "stranded" in Engelsdorf I was looking for a restaurant and landed in the grandfather clock. And immediately felt comfortable. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly, attentive staff, a varied menu and of course very delicious food. Not to forget the well-stocked selection of drinks. There is something here for all tastes and moods! So I liked to stop here in the evening and always felt very entertained ;-) I will definitely be a guest again the next time I work in Engelsdorf!

Unconditionally recommended! The food is top class and the prices for the dishes are cheap. Pleasant atmosphere and nice friendly staff round off this gastronomic enterprise. In fine weather, you can sit outside another plus point. We will definitely come back as long as we are in Leipzig.

Modern very nice ambience. Friendly staff, great decor. Welcome drink included. A star deduction - the spare rips were very good in taste, but unfortunately in my eyes to "bite".

Eat good, don't give too much attention to the tips on the menu. There are enough parking spaces in front of the door on the street. Very friendly and quick staff. Unfortunately there was apple sauce on the sweet tarte flambée, apple pieces would have been nice. Very good espresso :)
